  • Great site!

I saw you sing at my friends wedding. Great job! What better way is there to commemorate such an important day than with a quartet? Marriages last forever and your singing really helped drive that point home! Excellent!

  • Dear Sirs:

My profound apoligizes for not responding to you until now.  Your Polaris Quartet had come into a Tim Horton's on hi-way 16 (near Hunt club and Prince Of Wales Drive (aka Hi-way 16).  I was very impressed with the impromptu performace that you gave my co-worker and myself.  I was also intrigued as I sing in a choir myself at my church Holy Cross 11:15 mass  I have not been able to respond to that wonderful evening as I had misplaced the card you gave me.   Thank you all from the bottom of my heart

  • Way to go POLARIS ! Just thinking of you on the weekend when I had greetings from our buddies in Canton N.Y.    We sure had fun and really showed them our stuff.....let's do it again sometime. Keep Singin' guys.... you're great.       Len in Ottawa

  • I just have to add a few comments here about the guys. I know the guys from singing in our show in Halifax, and Mike is now a dual member with the Bedford/Sackville chapter.
I mentioned to Mike that my daughter Gwen was getting married this summer.......he said......"we'll sing for you" !!  Mike, you're in Ottawa, I'm in Halifax !!  "No worries, we'll come down."  And they did !! All on their own, I might add.
They were an absolutely wonderful addition to the wedding.  They stunned the guests, who had never heard barbershop.  When they sang to my daughter at her reception (with me backing up Shaun as lead ), we got a standing ovation for "Little Girl".  150 people had tears of happiness in their eyes, and I was a very very proud dad.
Guys........Thank You......a million times over. We will treasure your contribution to our day. Keep singing so others can share the joy.
    All our best.....
Tom & Joan McCarron in Halifax,
on behalf of our daughter Gwen, and her husband Chris.

  • Fantastic website!  Well laid out and easy to follow.  Very impressive as you guys always are!!

To the person who proclaimed that they are the #1 fan of Polaris - I have a challenge on that one!  I will run for that honour anytime.  I don't think anyone could love these four more than I.

To a quartet who is welcome at "the farm" anytime, thanks for including me on your mailing list and keeping me abreast of a wonderful website.

have expected. I really like how you have given the public the

  • Terrific site, guys  -  befitting a bunch of terrific guys!

I've only heard you sing before an audience twice: at the CCC Christmas Show at the Unitarian church, and as a guest quartet at the Showtime Chorus' Annual Show.  I was most impressed on both occasions at how you took over the stage and made it your own.  Whether singing a "serious" song or a comedic number (I split a gut laughing so hard!), you always put out a high quality sound.

    Cheers!  -   Em.

  • As self appointed "prezzie" of the Polaris Fan Club, I really wanted to be the first to 'sing' the praises - that all who experience the Polaris adventure - want to sing.

You Guys - RULE!!!  I so look forward to seeing you on Valentine's Day, as you grace me with your harmonic  presence, hypnotize me with your focused intent, and make me smile with your humourous antics.  A treat that I (and other co-workers) look forward to every single year.

Thank you for allowing me to be one of one the many on your annual hit list. . . . ie: sharing the magic.

  • By chance, I let my teenagers switch the radio to Hot 89.9 one morning a few weeks ago, and was surprised to hear quartet singers.....my music teacher (a few years back) was in a quartet and coming from a musical family we loved them. If you are half as good in person as you sounded on the radio, I can't wait to see you. Best of Luck,
    Leslie

  • Dearest Polaris,
Thank you for coming down to Montreal and singing at my mom's memorial service "wake".  You made a beautiful tribute to her life.  She often spoke of seeing your show at the Montreal Casino, and when you performed for her and the patients at the Royal Victoria Hospital, and of course the wonderful evening we spent together in the snow storm. She was a huge barbershop quartet fan and loved to hear you sing.  Since the memorial servce we received many compliments about how great you guys are. The guests loved your voices, performance, energy and help in remembering my Mom, Maura's spirit.  Individually you are the greatest guys that make a fabulous, excellent quartet.
    Forever Grateful,
    Ann Marie
